Long distance quantum teleportation

چکیده

Quantum teleportation is a core protocol in quantum information science. Besides revealing the fascinating feature of quantum entanglement, quantum teleportation provides an ultimateway to distribute quantum state over extremely long distance, which is crucial for global quantum communication and future quantumnetworks. In this review, we focus on the long distance quantum teleportation experiments, especially those employing photonic qubits. From the viewpoint of realworld application, both the technical advantages and disadvantages of these experiments are discussed.
